My TV work includes The Big Breakfast, The Big Read: Battle of the Books, Central Weekend Live, Loose Lips, Reading the Decades, SF Scene, 3001: A Sex Oddity, Top Ten TV and Ultimate Sci-Fi Top Ten, as well as radio interviews on the Today programme, American National Public Radio and many local stations. As a sideline I have written jokes for both Russ Abbott and Richard Blackwood, as well as working on several film and TV projects. I played a policeman in the first British independent martial arts film, Insiders (directed by Steve Lawson) and a journalist in the low budget werewolf movie Full Moon Massacre, and I starred as myself in the video for 'Phasers on Stun' by the Scottish indie band Urusei Yatsura (directed by Tony Luke).
