With Pirates of the Caribbean 3 opening this week it seems a good time to add a big, three-part interview that I did with screenwriters Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio back in 2000, covering The Mask of Zorro, Aladdin, The Road to El Dorado, Small Soldiers, Little Monsters and something called Shrek - plus unmade versions of Godzilla, Iron Man and Sandman. I have also dug out a very short interview that Terry Rossio gave me in 2002 when they were just starting work on the first Pirates movie.
